Briscoe Western Art Museum opened in 2013. It is housed in San Antonio's original public library from the 1930s. It is a museum concentrating on preserving the western art, history, and culture of the American West.

Museums on Us Program: Bank of America and Merrill Lynch cardholders receive FREE general admission on the first full weekend of every month.
Parking: No Free parking; paid parking lots and paid street parking are nearby. I would suggest taking the bus downtown, if possible, due to parking being limited.
