The Alamo - San Antonio

The Alamo is a historic site located in Downtown San Antonio. It was founded in 1716 as a Spanish Mission. It was abandoned shortly being secularized in 1793. It became occupied by the Mexican military in the early 19th century. It was later the site of the Battle of Alamo, a battle in the Texas Revolution, occurring February 23 - March 6, 1836.
